Accessibility statement

Our commitment
Anxiety doesn't care how you use a computer, and neither should this site. We aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA across ihateflying.org, and we treat accessibility issues as bugs, not feature requests.
What's in place
Keyboard operation of search (including the airport suggestions), flight result cards, dialogs (focus is trapped, Escape closes, focus returns where you were), a skip-to-content link, AA-checked text contrast on our dark theme, labels on form controls and interactive map layers, and respect for your reduced-motion preference — animations are minimized and the wind-particle layer starts off when your system requests reduced motion.
Known gaps
The interactive weather map is hard to convey non-visually; the same information (turbulence forecast, live status, weather) is available as text on each flight page. Some map tooltips are hover-only. We're working through these.
Tell us what's broken
If anything here blocks you, please tell us via the contact address in our privacy policy and we'll prioritize it.
