What the record shows
The 757-300 is the stretched version of the 757, built in small numbers between 1998 and 2004 and used mainly on high-density leisure and domestic routes. Across roughly 1.5 million departures in 27 years it has had no fatal accidents and no aircraft written off. Its reported occurrences are the ordinary kind for a twinjet of its age, such as in-flight engine shutdowns, rejected takeoffs and cabin fume events, none of which cost an aircraft.
Engine programme: Bottom-up and then reconciled to the family total. 55 aircraft delivered 1999-2004; fleet-year integral is roughly 150 aircraft-years during the 1999-2004 ramp, plus about 810 for a stable fleet of 54 through 2005-2019, plus about 108 across the 2020-2021 parking period, plus about 180 from 2022 to mid-2026 as the fleet fell toward 32, giving roughly 1,250 aircraft-years. The -300 is flown in high EXCLUSIONS: None. The 757-300 has no hull losses at all, deliberate or otherwise, so the exclusion policy has nothing to remove. No 757-300 has ever been destroyed, hijacked, shot down or lost to an undetermined cause.
