What the record shows

The A321ceo is the stretched member of the original A320 family and has flown in airline service since January 1994. In more than three decades it has had one fatal accident attributable to airframe or operational causes, the 2010 Airblue approach accident near Islamabad, which killed all 152 people on board. Its other write-offs, including a maintenance fire at Doha in 2017, a wingtip strike at New York in 2019, a bird strike forced landing near Moscow in 2019 and a cabin battery fire at Busan in 2025, killed nobody.
