What the record shows
The Embraer 175 is the most widely flown regional jet on United States domestic routes and has recorded no fatal accidents and no hull losses since entering service in 2005. One person has died in an E175 accident: a ramp worker at Montgomery, Alabama in December 2022 who walked into a running engine, which the NTSB attributed to the worker's impairment rather than to the aircraft. It is the only first generation E-Jet still in production, with roughly 865 delivered.
Engine programme: Labelled estimate. 829 delivered as of Jun 2025 (Wikipedia orders and deliveries table), plus about 22 in H2 2025 and 16 in H1 2026 (Embraer quarterly delivery reports: 6 E175s in Q1 2026, 10 in Q2 2026) gives about 865 built. Zero hull losses and few retirements, so about 830 active.
